Menu for Hope Results

Well, the Menu For Hope results are in!  I am sure you are all waiting with baited breath to find out if your raffle ticket was the lucky one.  First, however, I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who so generously participated in this raffle.

Your money has gone to a good cause.  The World Food Programme (WFP) is the United Nations frontline agency in the fight against global hunger. Operations aim to:
• Save lives in refugee crises and other emergencies
• Improve nutrition and quality of life of world's most vulnerable people at critical times in their lives
• Enable development by (a) helping people build assets that benefit them directly; (b) promoting the self-reliance of poor people and communities

This year, the Menu for Hope program raised 50% more money than last year, each one of your contributions help to meet this amazing goal.

Personally, I am honored to have been included in this fantastic program.  I would like to thank Adam at Serious Eats for his help and patience with me.

As a personal food blogger, I could not offer some of the grand prizes that a professional food writers or business owners offered, but I really appreciate that so many of you were willing to invest your money for a chance to win my home-cooked food.

Without further Adieu, the winner of my sauce and jam is Ms. Cari Chopyak.  Congratulations Cari, I hope you enjoy the sauce and the jam.
